Pro-Grow Premium Topsoil is a 100% British made product using a combination of nutrient rich, organic compost and horticultural sand. This 10mm sandy loam topsoil is the perfect solution for building raised beds, planting trees and shrubs and general landscaping.
Topsoil is an important component of most landscaping projects and as such, using good quality, sustainable topsoil is key to achieving the best results. Our multipurpose topsoil is made using part horticultural sand and part Pro-Grow peat-free soil conditioner. It is the perfect blend to ensure sufficient drainage, water retention during dry periods, increased oxygen flow and strong anchorage for plant roots. The soil conditioner brings organic matter, and a range of the nutrients needed for the growth of healthy vegetation including nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium along with various secondary nutrients and trace elements.
Pro-Grow topsoil is provided at a consistent quality, screened at 10mm and is regularly tested to British Standard BS3882:2015 to ensure it is ideal for home growing and commercial use. All products made by Pro-Grow are 100% peat free, help to reduce our ecological impact and support a British circular economy.

The minimum quantity of loose compost we supply is 8 tonnes and maximum at 26 tonnes per vehicle. We deliver nationwide using 8 wheelers, artic vehicles and vehicles with moving floors. Directions for Use
- Trees & shrubs: Place topsoil to a depth of up to 30cm, water thoroughly, dig a space for the roots then place the tree or shrub in position
- Grass seeding and turfing: Spread at a depth of 10 - 30cm, tread over the soil to compact it and level with a rake before sowing grass seed or laying turf. Water thoroughly
- New beds: A 20 - 30cm layer of topsoil will allow good root development. Allow the beds 2 weeks to settle before planting. Cultivate and enrich the soil underneath the bed with Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner
- It may require additional fertiliser depending on the plant nutritional requirements
- At a depth of 10cm, one 730L bag of Pro-Grow topsoil will cover 7m²
