Feeling green fingered? Here's the latest from Pro-Grow

The Pro-Grow team have been busy in the lead up to Spring, supporting schools and charities in partnership with the BBC’s Gardeners’ World live.

For the second year in a row, Pro-Grow are sponsoring schools across Birmingham for the wheelbarrow challenge. Using Pro-Grow soil conditioner, the competition will see the schools learn about organic growing by creating their own wheelbarrow planters, complete with flowers, fruit and veg.

Did you know that gardening can help make positive changes to people’s lives? The team have also been donating soil conditioner and plant feed to be used by leading social and therapeutic horticultural charity Thrive. Thrive uses gardening to bring about positive changes in the lives of people living with disabilities or ill health, or who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable. The team haven’t stopped there - they’re also helping a Birmingham school create a book about how they created their garden designs for the BBC’s show!

Have you seen the new Pro-grow Agri range? Produced at our new facility in Livingston, Scotland, the new agricultural range is made using materials from around the UK. Currently being sold by our Organics Recycling Team, we’re working on creating tailored products for our farming customers - watch this space.
