Where are you based?

Our sales office is based in Four Ashes, Wolverhampton. We manufacture compost across 11 UK facilities. Our two main production sites are Little Bushywarren and Chilbolton, both in Hampshire. We also operate five sites in the West Midlands (Acton, Coven, Telford, Linghall and Oxton), two IVC sites (Padworth and Woodlands) and two sites in Essex (Pitsea and Rainham).

All of the compost collected in loose loads or bulky bags will be supplied from Little Bushywarren in Basingstoke. Small bags can be collected from Chilbolton.

 

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver nationwide using specially selected hauliers and are in partnership with the biggest pallet network(s) in the UK. Please note, some UK locations carry additional delivery surcharges.

Are the bulky bags / pallets returnable (or collected)?

No. The bulky bags and pallets are not returnable or collected by us after use.

How much soil is in a bulky bag?

 

Premium Topsoil Bulky Bag - 730 litres,  approximately 730kg

Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner Bulky Bag - 1000 litres, approximately 550kg

Pro-Grow Multi-Purpose Compost Bulky Bag - 1000 litres - approx 480kg

Pro-Grow Lawn Conditioner Bulky bag - 730 litres, approximately 650kg

Do you deliver loose loads of compost?

Yes, we deliver both our PAS100 soil conditioner and BS3882 topsoil in loose loads, by the tonne, nationwide. Please contact us at pro-grow@veolia.com for prices and lead time.

Can I place my order over the phone?

Yes, orders can be placed over the phone and details will be confirmed via email following the call. All payments are to be made online, via the website (card details cannot be taken over the phone). If you have a credit account with us, a copy of a purchase order must be sent by email before the order is processed by Veolia.

Does the price include delivery and VAT?

All prices shown on the website include VAT. 

Bulky bags - All bulky bags include delivery costs to most postcodes. Some areas may include an additional fee which will be calculated at checkout.

Individual small bags - All small bags DO NOT include delivery charges. Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout 

Full and half pallets - All full and half pallet offers include delivery costs to most postcodes. Some areas may include an additional fee which will be calculated at checkout.

 

Why does my bulk bag order have an additional delivery surcharge?

All bulky bags include delivery costs to most postcodes. Some areas may include an additional fee which will be calculated at checkout. This fee is based on your location (For example, delivering to the Scottish Highlands, Central London, Ireland etc). Please contact the team at pro-grow@veolia.com to check your delivery costs.

Can I specify a delivery date?

Yes, you can specify your delivery date during checkout by adding a note into the delivery instructions box. All of our deliveries are made between Monday - Friday, usually within 5 - 7 days from receipt of your order and payment.

Can I specify a delivery time?

No, we do not offer timed deliveries as standard. If you would like to request an AM or PM delivery for the additional cost of £12.00, please contact the team at pro-grow@veolia.com with your order reference number.

What size lorry will my products be delivered on?

Vehicle size will vary depending on the products being delivered, your location and the haulage company that we use. Please view our delivery policy for details and contact pro-grow@veolia.com if you have any delivery concerns.

Do you deliver on Saturdays/Sundays?

We do not deliver at weekends as standard, please contact us if this is required at pro-grow@veolia.com .

Are you products peat free?

Yes, all of the products supplied by Pro-Grow are 100% peat free.
