Pro-Salt is a BS 3247 standard fine grade, fast acting de-icing salt for winter maintenance.
- Fine grade (6.3mm), fast acting rock salt from Cheshire.
- Perfect for de-icing and clearing paths, steps and driveways.
- Certified to the British Standard 3247 specification for salt for spreading on highways for winter maintenance.
- Approximately 94% pure salt with the chief impurity being marl which gives the salt a reddish-brown colour.
- Marl is an insoluble mineral and helps to provide traction and grip.
- Contains a small amount of anti-caking additive to maintain spreading properties after prolonged storage.

Directions for use
Bags are provided with removable covers which allow for storage outside. Spread rock salt just before ice or snow is forecast to help prevent a build up and make it much easier to clear. Spread a bit extra if ice has already formed. Anti-caking additive allows easy spreading and allows product to be stored for longer.
Safe Handling: Product is heavy so take care when lifting. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Wear a dust mask if handling for long periods. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid prolonged skin contact. Do not ingest. Keep away from strong acids and common metals.
Storage: Rock salt can be stored outside but will absorb moisture over time. Care should be taken to avoid excessive run-off into water or onto vegetation.
