Pro-Grow Lawn Dressing is a very fine, dry compost created specifically for lawn top dressing. Pro-Grow Lawn Dressing Increases organic matter in your lawn to improve aeration and water holding capacity. This means water and air can easily reach the grass roots, and the soil will hold more moisture meaning it’s less likely to dry out in hot weather.
Pro-Grow Lawn Dressing is double screened for an extra fine compost that will easily filter through blades of grass.
Only the driest composts are chosen for Pro-Grow Lawn Dressing. A re-closable top cover means you can keep the product dry even if it starts to rain halfway through the job! As a result, this lawn dressing is suitable for spreading by hand or with a mechanical spreader.

Directions for Use
- Top dressing: We recommend 1-2 kg per m² for a light dressing. Spread evenly onto the lawn then rake and water in. Top dressing is best done straight after mowing.
- Lawn repairs: For any holes, divots and bare patches, apply between 1 – 3cm and water regularly until an even surface is achieved
- Re-seeding: Spread at 2-4 kg per m² when re- seeding.
- Turfing: Apply a thicker layer to the joins where turf strips meet, as well as any narrower strips and low areas. Then sprinkle a thinner layer over the rest of the turf. Water regularly until an even surface is achieved. Pro-Grow Lawn Conditioner will hold additional moisture for the turf, and help it to establish after being laid.
- If spreading 2kg per m², one 730L bag will cover at least 200m².
