Key Benefits
This complete winter mulching bundle combines Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner with Pro-Grow Bark Chip to improve and protect your garden soil throughout the colder months.
The soil conditioner adds organic matter, natural nutrients and humus to help improve soil fertility, structure and moisture retention. It can benefit both heavy clay and lighter, sandy soils by supporting better drainage, moisture-holding capacity and root development. Suitable for autumn and winter soil conditioning, it’s ideal for use in beds, borders, allotments and no-dig gardens. Pro-Grow Soil Conditioner is also 100% British and peat-free.
Once applied, cover the soil conditioner with Pro-Grow Bark Chip to create an attractive and practical mulch layer. The bark chip helps suppress weeds, retain moisture and protect plant roots from cold and wet weather. It also helps reduce rain splash, soil erosion and surface run-off, while helping prevent soil and compost from being washed away.
Together, these products provide an effective way to improve soil, support healthy plant growth and protect beds and borders over winter, while leaving your garden with a neat, finished appearance.
