The Production Process

The journey to creating our top dressing begins with collecting grass clippings and green material then composting them under forced aeration. Utilizing advanced heat and humidity controls, which ensures the material decomposes properly, eliminating weed seeds and pathogens in the process. The high temperatures achieved during composting guarantee a safe and clean product with no loss of the organic content and microbial goodness.

Once composted, the organic material is double screened to a fine 5mm size. Because production is all indoors, the moisture content is carefully monitored. Producing a fine textured and free-flowing lawn top dressing. This careful screening process ensures that the final product is easy to apply, whether by hand or with a mechanical spreader.

Turf Renovation

Pro-Grow Organic Fine Grade Lawn Top Dressing is often used by our customers in Lawn Renovation programmes as it is the finest (5mm screened), driest, highest quality 100% Organic and 100% Peat Free, Lawn Dressing available in the Lawn Care market.

Widely used as a lawn top dressing, applied during lawn renovation procedures and after scarification, either to provide a seed bed, or applied on top of seed to aid germination and feed a healthy growth of over-seeded lawns, and as a top dressing. Fine and dry enough to be applied using a spreader. Excellent for renovating Golf Tees and Fairways.

Our PAS100-2018 Green Compost / 10% Sand blend is also suitable to be used to level out uneven lawns, fill indentations and wear patches, etc, because it is a 0-5mm screened dressing it can be applied through a mechanical lawn spreader/top dressing spreader, as well as by hand / raking in.

Turf Dressing / Top Dressing – especially during lawn renovation work, re-seeding, levelling up lawns ,filling in depressions and creating a seed bed for re-seeding.
Screened 0-5 mm. 100% Organic and Peat Free. Dry and fine enough to be applied through a mechanical spreader.
Ideally suited for renovating and re-seeding Golf Tees or problem areas on Golf Fairways.
Soil Conditioner – our PAS100 certified & CPQ Certified Fine Green Compost is perfect for ameliorating heavy clay soils due to its fine texture, and full of nutrients in the composted organic matter. *Perfect for applying to flower beds, etc, or for use as a seed bed prior to over-seeding or laying turf on top of.
As a Peat Free Tree Planting Compost by Local Authorities and Landscapers. Uses include major tree planting schemes as the micro and macro nutrients promote growth and healthy root development.

Order online and get Pro-Grow delivered to your home or business. Bags are delivered within 5 - 7 working days. Pallets are delivered on a 7.5t or 18t vehicle and unloaded using a pallet trolley. Please advise us if you require a smaller vehicle to deliver your goods. Please be aware that the pallet trolley cannot travel across un-even surfaces (e.g. gravel). We will try our best to put the pallet where you need it but WE MAY ONLY BE ABLE TO DELIVER IT TO THE KERBSIDE.
